Get your shooting sports events posted here.

Invite others to your events.

I've been kicking around the idea of doing a postal type match and using the forum here to conduct it, but available time is holding me back. If anyone would be interested in running something like that we could even make another forum just for postals.

Over on pronematch.com, Hap Rocketto is running/coordinating a prone postal. It is 60 shots per month on a metric target (USA-50)? It will wrap up its second month at the end of December.

Rimfire Central has many postal matches going all the time. This coming year we are adding prone 25 and 50 yard postals. Come and shoot with us.

Took a look at Rimfire Central, while there is clearly a tremendous amount of content on that site I could not find anything leading me to postal match announcments or schedules. Could you please provide a link?

Hap Rocketto is a true hero in the shooting community, it's nice to hear that he's still kicking up dust. Smile and yes I'd be interested in any links to shooting events.

Dude
Please go to http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php Then scroll about three quarters of the way down the page to "Matches". Go to Benchrest 50 yd. Iron Sight Matches with NRA A-23/5 target,. These are Postal Matches. You also have "NRA PRONE 50 Yard Any Sight Match (Post scores here)", 3 Position CMP Matches, Rimfire Pistol Matches and Fun Matches just to name a few. The forums discuss just about any type of smallbore rifle or pistol. Many of the shooters of Rimfire Central went to Camp Perry this year and did quite well. This coming year we will host Postal Matches in 25 and 50 yard matches, benchrest and prone, vintage and unlimited rifles. There will be state vs. state competitions. There will also be a 100 yard match. Everyone is welcome.

http://pronematch.com/

They are always posting matches in the New England and other areas on that site. You can probably search around for the Postal Match that Hap is coordinating. You can also read a lot of Hap's commentaries there too.

Enjoy. I am surprised you were not aware of that. Some more reading would be on the delphi forums. Two smallbore forums I find of particular interest are the "competitive rifleman" and "smallbore accuracy". A gentleman whose last name escapes me hosts the competitive rifleman forum, and I believe Mike Rossi hosts the smalllbore accuracy forum. Both are interesting reads, and I think you will find some familiar names hanging out there too. The delphi forums require registration, and I seem to recall that it was difficult to get to these particular forums the first time through.

Good luck.

Hi, if anybody has information about upcoming shoots please post date and location. Also contact person and regestration forms would be helpful. Many times shoots are over before anybody really knows they are taking place. Thanks to all, John

There are a few 3P matches coming up shortly that you might be interested in:

Palmyra Invitational (each weekend in January). This is both a USA Shooting 3P and Air rifle match: http://www.palmyr...rrifle.asp

NRA 3P Sectional in Jamestown (Feb 20th):

You can also check Shooting Sports USA: http://www.nrapublications.org/ssusa/index.html

Does CMP have something else going or did you mean a 1903? (Not a springfield 1903)

Anyone ordered one the 1913's from CMP? I was wondering how long it takes to receive the rifle?

Where is everyone? It' been real quiet here...

Shot in a vintage match today. 03A3 Springfield barks a bit louder than my Anschutz... but I still had fun. Smile

my new 1413 with 1600 series action should be here soon
